ORDERING INFORMATION

(1) Contact us to determine whether an item is for sale at a gallery, or directly from us. Just click above on "Contact Suzanne" or "Contact Don." And be sure to ask any questions you have about the item. Do remember also that colors as shown on websites can be somewhat different than when viewing the item in person.   Note: Workbooks always available from Suzanne, just contact me for postage/sales tax info.

(2) If a specfic item is available only through a gallery, we will immediately forward your information to them and ask them to contact you to answer any questions about price, shipping, etc.

(3) Total cost: If the item is available directly from us, we'd be happy provide a quote that would include the cost of item, packing & postage, and insurance. Sales tax (5%) added to all Maine orders. We will ship anywhere in the world providing insurance is available to cover potential loss. Postage rates will depend on how fast you want to receive the item - we can offer everything from parcel post to second-day delivery (we live on an island so can't guarantee overnight but are willing to try). Once an item is shipped we will inform you via e-mail that it's on its way and provide a tracking number if one is available..

(4) Other services:

             On-site viewing: If you're planning to be in Deer Isle and would like to see items in person, please e-mail us so we can tell you whether the items are in stock and if we'll be available. We do not maintain a gallery or showroom but can, with advance notice, accommodate customers who would like to see our work in person.

              Gift wrapping is available for some items for an extra charge (based on size of piece). Included with gift wrapping service is a small silk gift card (larger ones available for purchase separately). Small items can be wrapped in silk fusion "wrapping paper" for that special presentation.

                 Gift certificates are available. Not sure what to give your significant other? parent? someone else special? We're happy to offer Gift Certifictes in any amount $25 or more. Gift certificates are made of colorful silk fusion with a matching envelope.

(5) Payment: Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express) are accepted May through December (and can be in other months for purchases totaling $100 or more). We always accept personal checks, postal and bank money orders or cash accepted. Payment must be received before item can be shipped.

(6) Ordering: To place an order, please print out our order form then snail mail it to us with payment (make checks out to either "SilkArt" or "WoodArt").   Send it to: 126 Reach Road, Deer Isle, ME 04627. OR call us 207-348-2791 OR e-mail us if you want to pay by credit card.

(7) Returns and refunds: We want you to enjoy our work so if you are not totally satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a full refund for any reason within 30 days after receiving it so long as it is in the same condition in which it was shipped. Please contact us before returning any item. Purchaser is responsible for return postage and insurance (required). No returns after 30 days. If, however, you ever have a problem with an item, need a repair, or an extra cane tip, earring back, etc., please contact us - we're happy to help.

(8) Discounts: If you order multiples of the same item (3 or more of the exact item but perhaps in different colors) we may be able to provide a small discount (up to 10%). This depends on our inventory and other issues - but it doesn't hurt to ask!
